Dr. Ranjana Singh

Professor, IIPH-Delhi

Dr. Ranjana is a Demographer and Statistician with over 15 years of experience in public health research. She holds advanced degrees in Statistics and Population Studies, including a PhD, and an MPH in Biostatistics from the University at Albany, SUNY, as part of PHFI’s Future Faculty Program. Her expertise spans large-scale surveys, questionnaire design, data management, statistical data analysis, and scientific writing. She has co-authored research papers in national and international journals.

At IIPH Delhi, Dr. Ranjana plays an active role in teaching across in-house and eLearning programs and currently coordinates the MPH program. She also leads and conducts short-term training workshops focused on applied statistics and statistical software. In addition to teaching, she is involved in various research projects, particularly in maternal and child health and infectious diseases. Notably, she contributed to one of the largest clinical trials evaluating the effectiveness of Intravenous Iron Sucrose in anaemic pregnant women.
