PHFI Centre for eLearning offers one year ePost Graduate Programs, eCourses ranging from 3-6 months of duration in key areas of public health. To know more about the program details, please visit the program page and download the course brochure
PHFI established PHFI Centre for eLearning in the year 2011 to offer programs through eLearning across key areas of public health practice. The PHFI Centre for eLearning promotes and provides quality education in an engaging, flexible and self-paced blended format through the latest learning technologies.

Students can request a cancellation of any service and a refund of the corresponding fees paid to the Foundation by sending a request in writing (by email, fax or post) that is received by the Foundation within seven working days of the original request for the service.

After the seven working day period as described above, application handling fees, registration fees and examination entry fees, as applicable, are not refundable. Examination fees cannot be transferred from one examination to another. In the event that a decision is taken by the Foundation to withdraw a program, any applicant who has not yet accepted an offer will be given a full refund of all fees within 30 days of their request for a refund.

Admission related queries

At PHFI Centre for eLearning, admissions to all the eLearning programs are open round the year in the following two batches:

  • 1. To register for January/February Batch – Register between July to December
  • 2. To register for July/August Batch – Register between December to July

    Yes, however you would be required to submit the declaration in case of missing/pending document at the time of application.
    You receive the Study Material/can have access to the study material after the successful payment for the course or before the start of the course.

    • On footer of https://cdl.phfi.org, click “Nominated Student Payment” then click “Continue” in the popup menu as shown below:
    • In the sponsored payment page type your “Payment reference number”. If you wish to add multiple reference numbers and make payment for multiple nominated students then click “Add Another” button. If the reference number you have entered are for Nominated Students then you can see them listed under “Total Payment” as shown below. Please note, reference number for nominated student will only be accepted in nominated sponsored payment mode. If you have not selected nominated student option at the time of filling up application form and you wish to pay through this mode, then please contact your program officer to change the option to nominated payment mode before making the payment.
    • Key in the information of “Contact Name”, “Email id” and “Name of Organization” and select your preferred payment mode then click “Submit” as shown below

    Academic Queries

    All eLearning courses at PHFI utilizes a blended online teaching/ learning technique. The basic course structure includes a combination of interactive online computer-based sessions, online virtual lectures, assessments and recommended readings from journal articles and textbooks in a modular format.
    PHFI Centre for eLearning has a vibrant cluster of multidisciplinary faculty who have been trained globally. Each faculty brings a plethora of experience and expertise in delivering eLearning programs. For more details, please visit :[faculty page]
    You can interact with the faculty via live interactive sessions and discussion forums. You can also connect with the course faculty via program officer to solve your course queries.
    The schedule for virtual classes is different for different courses. Kindly refer to the Virtual Class schedule available on the student login.

    PHFI CEL Portal is compatible with and fully functional, in all modern devices (Laptop, Desktop, Tablets etc..). You can access it from anywhere anytime.

    However, we have set a minimum recommended configurations:

    • Internet Bandwidth: 1 Mbps
    • Processor: Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent and above
    • RAM: 512 MB and above (1 GB recommended)
    • Supported browsers: recent Google Chrome, recent Mozilla Firefox, Safari 6, Internet Explorer 9 (IE 10 required for drag and drop of files from outside the browser into CEL)
    • Latest Adobe Flash Player
    • Supported Operating Systems: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7,or later, Mac OS, Linux, IOS, and Android etc…
    • Headset with microphone (web camera - optional)
    Yes, you can attend these sessions from your workplace subject to availability of necessary IT infrastructure required for accessing the study contents.
    Though it is not mandatory to attend live interactive sessions, we strongly recommend you to attend them to gain the best learning experience.

    Evaluation and Assessment Related Queries

    PHFI Centre for eLearning mainly utilizes a mix of examinations at the completion of each module, internal assignments and one final examination at the end of the program. Please refer to the Course handbook for program specific evaluation mechanism.
    Final online certificate will be awarded only to the students who successfully complete the course and clear all the course requirements. Please refer to the course handbook/connect with program officer for details regarding program specific course requirements.
