Dr. Monika Setia is currently working with Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) and is based at Indian Institute of Public Health as Assistant Professor. She received her Ph.D. from the Department of Health Policy and Administration at The Pennsylvania State University, U.S.A. in 2010 with a minor in Demography. After receiving her doctorate degree, she worked as a Research Fellow in the Health Services and Systems Research program at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, Singapore. She has received external funding for her research, published work in leading international journals, and presented her research at prominent conferences. The focus of her Ph.D. training and most of her research has been on quantitative methods. Additionally, she has used multiple statistical software, including SPSS, Stata, and SAS, for her research. She has experience in managing and analyzing large datasets. Monika has also conducted multiple workshop on SPPS and quantitative data analysis at Pennsylvania State University and Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar. She has taught courses on biostatistics and EpiInfo to public health and medical professionals at IIPHG.
