Data management plays a crucial role in ensuring quality of research data. A well designed database is one of the key components of data management. There are several software packages that are available for this purpose. However, irrespective of the type of database used, a lot of planning and thought goes into the designing of a database depending upon the study design, study setting and the manpower available.
CSPro is a public domain data management software, developed and maintained by the US Census Bureau.

At the end of workshop, the participants will be able to list the key steps in database designing, develop programmatic checks, appreciate the importance of database validation, develop post-entry data checks to ensure data quality of a typical survey and running basic analysis tables. Participants will also be able to deploy data entry applications to android devices.
